Prior to co-founding Bright Spectrum ABA, Debora worked as a Medical assistant and as an Office manager in a medical pediatric clinic for several years. As she observed the profound need from underrepresenting families in receiving behavioral therapy for their children; she understood the need of more ABA providers that may understand the needs of those families that require ABA therapy for their loved ones. Debora acknowledges that ABA has proven to be effective for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, but access to this type of therapy can be limited for certain families due to factors like, availability, cultural barriers, language barriers, lack of resources, and other factors including insurance eligibility. Debora is fully bilingual (Spanish-English) as she is very compassionate in supporting families and she is committed to continue providing high quality services in her community. Debora studied Psychology with a minor in Business Administration at University of Maryland Global Campus as she has an extensive background in healthcare administration and management.
